Your APC and Training and Development
Whether you select the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute) pathways of the APC or are pursuing a dual-qualification, we will be able to tailor your training and development to suit your career aspirations.
Upon joining our graduate programme you will be invited to a national induction where you will get to meet all of the other new trainees across the business in a session tailored to you and your career journey.
When you join your programme, you will be invited to workshops, interim assessments, seminars, meetings and training sessions. Our goal is to help you achieve your goal, so we are committed to giving you the solid foundation required for your professional development.
Our rotational programmes offer four six-month rotations in your first two years. If you join on a non-rotational programme, your training will be focused on sustained experience in the business unit you choose to join, but still with the opportunity to rotate to another team upon becoming professionally qualified.

Property and Centre Management
Our Property and Centre Management teams aim to deliver a best practice property management service by building strong relationships with landlords and occupiers of commercial property.
They manage commercial properties across the UK with over 18,000 occupiers and a combine annual rent roll in excess of £500m.
Within Property and Centre Management is our Corporate Solutions team. Their objective is simple: to ensure that our clients’ property portfolios are of the right size in the right location, at the right cost with the right degree of flexibility to meet the needs of their business. Our specialist, in-house Healthcare team are market leaders in the valuation of healthcare properties. They provide tailored building, financial and lease consultancy services as well as planning and valuation advice across the NHS and public sector.
Energy and Natural Resources
From flood risk consultancy and environmental due diligence to business sales and asset valuation, our Energy and Natural Resources team are equipped to provide a comprehensive range of services to our clients.
The team is divided into three specialisms: Energy, Environmental and Minerals & Waste. With increasing governmental regulation focussing on onshore and offshore renewables, this is a team that has to be as adaptable as possible.
Our 10 – 12 month placement is a great opportunity to put your theory into practice and work with one of our teams in an office of your choice.
You will apply to your chosen pathway – Commercial Surveyor, Building Surveyor or Planning – and have the chance to gain experience by working with employees at all levels including Directors and Principals on high profile real estate, development portfolios.
Not only will you gain support as you develop your experience and be invited to internal training courses, but you also have the potential opportunity to work towards your APC during your placement year.
We have opportunities for students who are undertaking a sandwich course, taking a gap year during their studies or those who are about to begin a Masters degree.

We’ve recently removed our academic requirements. Whilst we do look at academic performance, we look at the strength of your application as a whole, rather than just the individual parts.
I would like to apply for a graduate position but my degree is not RICS or RTPI accredited. Can I still apply?
We will consider applications from graduates from a non-property related background, although you will need to demonstrate you have a current passion for property, and you will be expected to undertake a RICS or RTPI Masters conversion course while you’re with us.
We may only sponsor non-EEA nationals to take up a position on the graduate scheme if there are no suitable candidates from within the EEA to fill the vacancies. Although applications can still be made, please note that if you require sponsorship to work in the UK, your application will be placed on hold until all candidates with existing right to work in the UK have been reviewed.

Should I include all of my work experience, or just property related experience on my application form?
Although we do look favourably on property related work experience we are also interested in any other experience where you have gained transferable skills, such as team working, customer service and organisation skills. So, please include all work experience that you feel demonstrates any useful skills, not just property experience.
